Mr. President! Mr President! Can you come let me touch your garment?
On a rare case I was watching Dateline NBC, and as the narrators pretended to be journalists by asking the tough questions, and interviewing the key players, I wondered what if they brought even 1/10 of that to political reporting? e.g. President Obama, can you tell us why you repeated 4 times in your speech to the the U.N. 2 weeks after Benghazi that the attacks were the result of a Youtube video? And then insisted in your debate that you’d always said it was terrorism? Instead it’s “oh Mr. President! Mr President! Can you come touch my garment?” a la Al Roker.
